Leonard Cohen, the Canadian poet and novelist, is known for his dark and haunting lyrics. One of his most famous songs is “Everybody Knows”, which was written in response to the death of his mentor, singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. The song begins with “Everybody knows that there's no love since you left me”.
